Giving homage to an artist living with a disability and severe pain . Frida Kahlo is very much regarded as an icon for the feminist and LGBTQ movement. Kahlo gave uncompromising depiction of the female experience. She challenged societal female expectations and painted honest depictions of women’s bodies often exploring abortion, miscarriage, breastfeeding and many other taboo subjects of her era.
